Well, another Pitts is in the news!

Hey, this time it's a good thing!James Patrick Pitts, son of Arthur (Pete) Pitts and Catherine Campbell is an actor in Holly Wood.His movie name is James Pitt. Most recent movie was Avatar. James played the part of the shuttle pilot. We hope this will lead to better and BIGGER things for him. James ( I still call him Patrick) never knew his Father. Like so many families, they were broken up by divorce. James grew up in Florida with his Mother and never knew any of his extended Pitts family. A couple of years ago James found this web site and discovered his roots. He contacted me through email. I will never forget that first email. It started like this. "Hello Uncle Ed (Maybe)". Needless to say, my family was/is elated! James arranged a trip to Alabama and of course we had to have a party! We invited all the family in Alabama and about 40 people showed up.  This is my own thoughts ,but I can imagine that as he was growing up there was many times he wished for a real Father to go to. I know I had times when I really needed my Mother (she died when I was 7).
